EHS Officer

Preferably in an industrial or construction setting

West Dublin

Permanent

The EHS Engineer – will be responsible for overseeing health, safety and environmental risk management to comply with client and statutory requirements in its operations.
This will include:
• Champion safe working culture
• Monitoring EHS Compliance on site
• Monitoring and contractor compliance on site.
• Reviewing Risk assessments and method statements.
• Assist in Accident and Incident investigation

Skills Required:

• Level 7 or 8 Degree.
• Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, persuasion and perseverance.
• Recognised EHS qualification.
• Two years of proven work as a safety officer or engineer.
• High English abilities

Main Duties:

• Proactive monitoring contractors safety compliance
• Focus on Daily walk of work areas including logistical support routes, docks, skips, material storage lay down areas etc.
• Active participation in good catch program.
• Collate Good Catch numbers, SPA, SBO’s
• Upload Good Catches onto AIMS.
• Checking GA1 & GA2s and MEWP daily check lists, Ladder, mobile scaffold tags, PA Tags, hot works etc
• Review Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) from contractors.
• SMBWAs leadership
